The student hostel complex donated by the Aliko Dangote Foundation — ten blocks, commissioned at the 41st Convocation. The standard named gifts are measured against.
Scholarships
Indigent-student scholarships funded by class sets and individual donors — published each session, with outcomes reported to the donors who made them possible.
The Endowment
The University’s permanent fund — established so that scholarships, research and upkeep never depend on any single year’s budget.

Pledge now, fulfil on your schedule.
Commit to a gift and pay it over months or years. You choose the schedule; we send receipts as you go and quiet reminders when instalments fall due. Pledges can be public — recorded on the Benefactors Board as commitments — or entirely private.

Card giving in USD, GBP and CAD settles to the same funds and appears in the same public accounts. For substantial gifts, wire details for domiciliary accounts are available from the advancement office. Diaspora chapters run their own drives — find yours.

Can I give anonymously?
Yes, at any level. Anonymous gifts appear in fund totals and audited reports, never on public boards.
Can I name a scholarship, room or facility?
At defined levels, yes — in memory, in honour, or in your own name. The naming policy is published; write to the advancement desk.
Who decides what gets funded?
Fund purposes are set by the University and faculties with the endowment’s trustees. Donors choose among them — or give unrestricted to the General Endowment.
What if a project stalls?
Fund pages report delays as plainly as progress. Restricted funds cannot be quietly diverted; material changes are put to donors.
