Giving & Endowment
The Benefactors Board.
The University’s public record of major giving — commitments and fulfilment, in the open, as Nigerian generosity has always been honoured. Inclusion is by consent; anonymity is always available.
The record.
| Benefactor | Tier | Funded | Status | Year |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aliko Dangote Foundation | Platinum | 2,160-bed student hostel complex — ten blocks, Samaru campus | Fulfilled | 2019 |
| Founding benefactors | The founding sponsors of the Network are announced at the public launch. The board debuts populated. | |||
Fulfilled amounts and in-progress markers are shown with each benefactor’s consent; exact amounts are published only where the benefactor chooses. Lapsed commitments quietly age off public surfaces — honour, not embarrassment, is the instrument here.
The tiers.

The societies.
The 1962 Society
The lifetime giving society — for individuals whose cumulative generosity places them among the University’s foremost private supporters.
The Evergreen Society
For consistency, not size: every donor with an unbroken run of annual giving, from ₦1,000 a month upward. Loyalty is a form of greatness here.
